Partner Pharmacy Action Item
Please establish a dedicated FedEx account number for Rx Tech Network shipments. It keeps your network shipping activity identifiable and lets Rx Tech Network view shipments across participating pharmacies once the account is added to its FedEx.com profile.
Contact your FedEx representative — Ask your aligned FedEx rep to create a dedicated account number under your pharmacy's existing FedEx pricing agreement.
Use the network naming convention — Request the account name [Pharmacy Name]– RXTN (e.g., ABC Pharmacy– RXTN).
Note: no space before the dash.
Confirm your addresses — Use your pharmacy's shipping address as the shipping address. Keep the billing address consistent with your other FedEx accounts.
Share the new account number — Once FedEx sets it up, send the account number to your Rx Tech Network contact so it can be added to the network's FedEx.com profile.
Ship on the dedicated account — Use the new account number for all Rx Tech Network–related shipments going forward.
Hi [Representative Name],
Please set up a dedicated FedEx account number for [Pharmacy Name] under our existing pricing agreement for Rx Tech Network–related shipments. Please name the account "[Pharmacy Name]– RXTN," use our pharmacy shipping address for shipments, and keep our billing address consistent with our other FedEx accounts.
Once the account is established, please send us the account number and confirm it is ready to use. Thank you.
FedEx indicated participating accounts can be aligned under an Rx Tech Network pricing group once a direct agreement between Rx Tech Network and FedEx is in place. For now, continue using your current pricing agreement.
Apply a consistent identifier — a GL code, reference field, or cost center — to every Rx Tech Network shipment so volume, spend and performance can still be separated and reported accurately.

On the flyer: Top of flyer
Nothing on the flyer tells pharmacies when to finish.
On the flyer: Step 1
The notes say "your aligned FedEx representative". Smaller pharmacies may not know who that is.
On the flyer: Step 2 and the email
The flyer matches the example exactly, "ABC Pharmacy– RXTN", no space before the dash. FedEx enters the name exactly as requested.
On the flyer: Step 4
The flyer says "your Rx Tech Network contact" with no name or email.
On the flyer: Step 5
The memo says the account is used exclusively for Rx Tech shipments; step 5 doesn't say "only".
On the flyer: Why this helps
The memo lists seven benefits; the flyer shows four.
The last one may read to pharmacies as moving their volume elsewhere.
On the flyer: Fallback box
The memo also mentions "other unique identifier" and billing reconciliation, and doesn't say who picks the identifier.
On the flyer: Bottom of flyer
The memo closes by saying this is a partnership outside the FedEx ecosystem, so a dedicated account or consistent identifier is critical.
